Details:

This is an original Ford part 1966 Mustang, Fastback, coupe, convertible, gt, Shelby gt-350. Does not have the original id tag. The shafts do together very well no binding. Housing casting number is C3DR-3550-c and date coded 4m22.

The movement does not feel very sticky. This is a 'long shaft' steering box. Should be inspected and possibly rebuilt great shaft threads.

Very straight. 16:1 ratio, 4 turns lock-to-lock, 1 sector shaft. The steering box is in great original condition. Original power steering gear box.

The steering wheel mount splines had a couple rough spots that have been ground down and will still great tight. Also used on Shelby gt-350 without power steering. Removed from a 65 Mustang Fastback with factory power steering.

No cracks or splits. Very hard to find original. The steering box looks great. Check it out by ing here.
