Heuer first started making dashboard chronographs for the motor racing and rally fraternity in 1911 were to invent start pause restart function.

The crown at top of both track masters is winder and when pressed serves to start timer. The trackmaster on right has a 60-second revolution graduated to show timing 1 5th of second and interior register will record for up 60-minutes then repeat. They are Swiss-made from Swiss components - none of your far east stuff here.
