Very straight. I do not feel any binding or stickiness in the movement no cracks splits. Original power steering gear box with Pittman arm nut and washer. No real rust.

The steering box looks great. I always recommend a rebuild for safety purposes. Great hose line ports and the box had very clean fluid.

This is an original Ford part. The steering box is in great original condition. Overall, this is a great original power steering box. Great shafts and splines threads.

The housing has casting numbers of c5vr-3550-a, dated 5h21 and c5ar-3a587-a, 5j14 c5ar-3580-a. Should be re lubed and inspected. This steering box works great.

The shafts have full rotation. The mounting threads are great. Very hard to find original. Check it out still has the original id tag stamped hcf b3 and removed from a 66 Thunderbird convertible.

The shafts turn together very well Ford Thunderbird, hardtop, landau, convertible, Lincoln Continental. 75 turns lock-to-lock.
