Details:

The unit includes a new 631 bulb. The Ford part on original paper tag is C8OB-13A756-a which are correct numbers for a 68 or 69 Torino. This is a fomoco original factory trunk light for all 1968 or 1969 Ford Torino model's. A correct original option is hard to find.

Look for it closely on yours, its there. It has an internal mercury switch that closes the circuit when deck lid is opened thereby lighting light. Installation tip: your car may already have the necessary connector built into wiring harness but if it doesn't, simply run a single lead from underside of dash tapped door light switch - green w yellow stripe to trunk area. The wire is still flexible and it has two 2 plastic retainers attached.

The unit grounds to deck lid. Add this rare item to your cars options. Please see my other offers for more parts thanks looking. The unit is completely self contained.

The unit is bench tested to be in excellent working condition. It came off a 1978 Ford Torino but will fit other model years of the era with similar body styles such as Fairlane galaxies comet cyclone Thunderbird and many others. It fits into the rectangular opening with little pilot screw hole drilled next to that is pre punched on underside of all Ford, mercury Lincoln product deck lids from mid sixties up. This is not an aftermarket item but the original fomoco part that came from factory when trunk luggage compartment light was specified.
