5 litre, xr7, xr7-g, Gt-e, eliminator very straight. No cracks or splits. This is an original Ford part. The mounting threads are great.

This is a 'short shaft' steering box great shaft and splines threads. The shafts do turn together well: 1 ratio, 4 turns lock-to-lock, sector shaft. Overall, this is a great original manual-power steering box.

Original m s-PS steering gear box with Pittman arm nut and washer. Check it out by ing here.

Still has the original id tag stamped smb f and 8j19b. The shafts have full rotation. The movement is sticky. Housing casting number is C7ZR-3550-a and date coded 8g18.

Very hard to find original needs be re lubed and inspected possibly rebuilt. The steering box looks great.
