Very straight this is an original Ford part. This box needs to be rebuilt: 1 ratio with 1 sector shaft. This is a 'short shaft' steering box. The steering box looks great.

Housing casting number is C6ZR-3550-a and date coded 6h17. The access plate was removed and shaft interlock block. Damaged no cracks or splits. Check it out by ing here. Great shaft and splines threads.

Overall, this is a good original 1967 only power steering box removed from 67 Mustang Gt-a fastback with Ford Mustang, fastback, coupe, convertible, Gt, Gt-a, Shelby Gt-350, Gt-5 mercury Cougar, 6. Still has the original id tag stamped smb e and 6k06b. It will need replacement internal parts. Impossible to find original.

Original power steering gear box with Pittman arm nut and washer. Some of the internal parts are just in a bag to be included with this box. The steering box is in good original condition. 5 litre, XR7.
