I do recommend a rebuild. Check it out Ford Mustang, fastback, coupe, convertible, Falcon, Fairlane, rancher, galaxies, mercury Comet, cyclone. The carburetor looks to be complete. The carb is stamped 6d e on LHS lower flange.

No rust or corrosion. Removed from a 66 Mustang fastback with 289 2v and 4-speed m e. This is an original Ford part. Still has the original id tag stamped Fomoco and C6DF e6fe.

Impossible to find original. 14 venture bore size. Has Autolite 289 2v carburetor with automatic choke. Number correct for with manual transmission and therm actor emissions.

The choke plate and lower butterflies open close well. Working condition unknown.

Overall, this is a great original 289 2v carburetor. No visible cracks or damage. The carburetor is in great original condition.
