Removed from a 65 Mustang 289 4v motor. No heavy build up or gunk. All of the springs and valves look good. No metal pitting overall, these are great original 289 cylinder heads.

All threads are great. Both heads have the fomoco castings and matching date codes of 4l16 4m5. Check it out by ING here. Original 289 cylinder heads with valves and springs rocker arms.

Smooth mounting flanges and surfaces. These heads are complete, except one head is missing an exhaust valve assembly. No visible wear these are original Ford parts LHS and Rh heads.

Great looking ports. They are very clean cast C5AE on the bottoms and no cracks or visible damage. These heads are in great original condition. I don't believe they have ever been rebuilt or machined no stripped threads.

Can be used on other engines also. No heavy rust. The intake and exhaust surfaces are smooth great.
