I'm not in the parts business but just another car nut who wants to help out those with same affliction. Jag had wire wheels so I don't know why it was in the tool kit, but when look up part number, see listed as possibly for a Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Lancia, alga romeo, etc. Long story short, it does not fit my 328 and I do need.

The small chrome-plated ball on male hex end which is spring-loaded functions fine and not frozen approx. 65 for the continental us. I'd rather start the buying low and have a fellow car enthusiast get good deal than my sons kick this to curb when i'm gone as they no idea about identifying half parts in garage. This was in the tool kit my 1969 e-type jaguar which has long been gone.
