There is one out of four end covers that loose from the bracket housing. That's right, you can't use these carriers without the keys to lock them in place - so of course are included. This is not an issue when you lock the carriers in place. These roof carrier racks served us well.

You can see the plastic hinge seat is broken off at one side resulting in metal bracket not staying connected. Its not a big issue for the price and plastic housing sits securely when locked on. They are used but in great shape. Gotta tie that Christmas tree to the roof.
