The copper plated thread holes appear impeccable and there is very little to no perceptible oxidation on back. This listing is for a new old stock 1949 Desoto hood medallion retainer surround trim.

The chrome is nice a toned satin finish. The piece is slightly scratched in finish from shelf wear and improper storage though its hardly an issue especially if you were to re-plate it.
